18th November	Nando’s wish JLS Good CLUCK!! Nando’s are PERi-PERi proud to show their support to X Factor finalists JLS! The boy-band, from London are massive fans of Nando’s, admitting they would eat there everyday if they could! After storming through boot camp and fantastically battling against the other acts on the live shows, JLS are in PERi-PERi hot place for the final! The boys regularly take a break from the finalist’s house and rehearsing to visit their local restaurant for our Legendary Portuguese Flame-Grilled PERi-PERi chicken. They even managed to treat the rest of the finalists in the house in the second week by organising a Nando’s banquet (as seen on the Xtra Factor, 18th October 2008). Louis Walsh’s final act, pipped by Cheryl Cole as the best group to appear on the X Factor, told a Nando’s insider that their limit on the PERi-o-meter is medium and though they like to treat themselves with some PERi-chips, they are also massive fans of our corn on the cob and spicy rice! 16th November	Nandocas in our Fareham restaurant held a 12-hour karaoke to raise money for Children in Need - and donated their days wages - raising a total of over £1,700.	.
28th October	PROUD SUPPORTERS OF THE ROYAL BRITISH LEGION Our friends at Tagus Creek - the Portuguese wine available in all Nando's restaurants - are making a donation of 5p to The Royal British Legion for every bottle sold, with a minimum guaranteed donation of £10,000 per annum. The Royal British Legion provides welfare support for ex-servicemen and women and their dependants throughout the year. Why not toast our heroes and help make a difference - enjoy a glass today!
