Maintaining the individuality of the restaurants is part of Nando's brand identity. Every Nando’s restaurant has its own identification based on the practicalities of the site and on the people who will be visiting.
As Nando's has grown, the restaurant designs have evolved and many of the older restaurants have been refurbished to bring them up to date. You will see that we always use strong natural materials, from marble to slate to antique oak, and as much natural light as possible.
Have a flick through our gallery to get a feel for Nando's restaurants for yourselves.
Many of our restaurants also have unique features.
Nando’s in Swiss Cottage has a 100 year old Port barrel, which was imported directly from Portugal and re-assembled in the restaurant. It provides a cosy seating area for about ten diners.
At our Soho restaurant, you can look down into the basement area from an impressive glass walkway.
To add to the external appearance of Nando's Coventry, 150 year old olive trees were planted outside, and the upper floor in the restaurant in Kingston features historic original beams across the restaurant.
All Nando’s restaurants act as a showcase for eclectic African Art, which is commissioned directly from South Africa. The art is selected depending on the restaurant design and also on the personal preferences of patrao. Take a look for yourself.
The soundtrack to your Nando’s experience is an eclectic mix of global music.
With a rich collection of classic, contemporary and ethnic, our music is as satisfying and varied as our menu.
The walls of our restaurants are a gallery for colourful, contemporary
African art. Feast your eyes as you eat!
