		Do you take bookings?
Not generally, we’re not that kind of restaurant, but for special occasions we can make exceptions. Some of our restaurants will take bookings for parties of all sorts – birthdays, office functions & Christmas. Please contact your local restaurant to find out more.
		Do you franchise?
No, but thanks for asking – it just shows how passionate you all are about Nando’s, and how well our current operating structure is working. Nando's does not offer franchises in the UK and we don’t have any plans to franchise here in the future. However if you’re a fan of international travel, there are sometimes franchises available in other countries - if you are interested in franchising abroad please visit our international website at www.nandos.com.
		I’m hungry now – are you open?
We’d love to be open all the time, but our grillers need their beauty sleep! Generally we’re open 12pm-11.30pm (Sun –Thurs) and 12pm-12am (Fri – Sat), but some of our restaurants open earlier and shut later. Please have a look at your local restaurant’s page on this site to make sure.
		Where do your chickens come from?
The short answer is… eggs. But, what you probably want to know is this… Nando’s uses indoor-reared chickens, which are sourced from the UK, with the exception of some of our chicken breast fillets, which are sourced from Holland. Our chicken is supplied to us fresh, never frozen from Faccenda the 2nd largest supplier in the UK and our Halal chicken from Freemans of Newent. Nando’s chickens are housed in sawdust-bedded, well-ventilated barns and they have constant access to food and water. They are fed non-GM feed and are free from antibiotic growth promoters. We can assure you of this because our producers adhere to strict standards laid out by the ACP (Assured Chicken Production) and are also regularly audited by our own Welfare team. Our business is chicken, and their health & happiness is a priority for us, because any problems for our chickens is a problem for us.
		What products on your menu are Gluten free?
Most of our menu is gluten free apart from the products listed below:    Portuguese Rolls    Pitta Bread    Kiddies Sesame Seed Buns    Vegetable Burger Patty    Nata    Coconut tart    Crunchy Lemon Pudding    Toffee Cheesecake    Croutons (in Caeser Salad)    PERi~PERi powder (on the PERi~PERi chips) If you need further info about our menu our restaurants have a Food and Menu Specification Book, which contains ingredients for all our products. Feel free to request it the next time you visit any of our restaurants.
		Is there a restaurant opening near me?

		Which of your restaurants serve Halal chicken?
We currently have 45 restaurants serving Halal chicken. Our Halal chicken supplier Freemans of Newent has been certified by the Islamic Institute of Jurisprudence, which has certified our chickens as Halal. It’s an achievement we’re very proud of and every Nando’s that serves Halal chicken displays a certificate on the wall just to prove it. 		Who do you offer discounts to?
As part of our commitment to the local communities, we are proud to be able to recognise the hard work put in by the Emergency Services and NHS on all our behalves. In appreciation of this, Nando’s offers every employee of the Police, Fire Service, Ambulance Service and NHS a 20% discount in all our restaurants. This offer is valid for the card holders meal only.
