Help! I've lost my physical Nando's Card. What do I do?

The important thing is not to panic… If you’ve registered your card, all is not lost! Nothing is lost, to be precise. All you need to do is log into your account and add your Nando’s Card to your mobile wallet.

You can also request a new physical card and have your account blocked if there is a risk someone may use your card. We’ll send you a shiny new Nando’s Card within 10 days, topped up with all your Chilli Points and rewards on. If you have added your Nando’s Card to your mobile wallet, it will also automatically update to the new card number.

Not registered your physical card? We hope you’re sitting down for this… We’re afraid we can’t save your Chilli Points and you’ll need to create a Nando’s Card account and get a new card for your mobile wallet.

I've forgotten my Nando's Card, can I still earn a Chilli Point?

We won’t stand in the way of you and free PERi-PERi! If you have the Nando’s Card in your mobile wallet then just tap the contactless reader to collect Chilli Points or redeem rewards.

Alternatively, if you have the app, just show the cashier your card number when you order and they can add your Chilli Point to your account.

If you have neither, fear not! Just ask for a Forgotten Card Code at the till and add it to your account later here. You’ll earn a Chilli Point when you spend £7 or more and you can earn one Chilli Point per day.

How Do I Check My Chilli Points And Rewards?

You can view your rewards in your mobile wallet. Alternatively log in or download the app to see your Chilli Points & rewards.

You can now redeem your Nando's Rewards on Collect. Get ordering! 

How long do I have to use my Rewards?

Rewards last a whole year, but our bet is you'll be using them much quicker than that! Just in case you don't, we'll send you an email just before your Reward expires if you have one waiting for you. We can't have that free PERi-PERi going to waste, now can we?

Can I redeem more than one Reward at a time?

If you’re Eating-In with us, you can redeem as many Rewards as you wish, whenever you wish, within a year of receiving them. If you’re ordering online, you can only redeem one Reward at any time. 

Why do Rewards expire?

All good things must come to an end, and we reckon a year is enough time for you to use your Reward. We'll send you a reminder email before any Rewards expire- we can't have you missing out!

Why do I need to register my Nando's Card?

If you’ve picked up a physical Nando’s Card you’ll need to create an account and link your card, in order to redeem your rewards, and protect your Chilli Points.

If you lose your card, we can then replace them for you. If you already have a Nando’s account from signing up for Wi-Fi or Delivery simply login, and you can link your card.

Don’t forget, you get a free Chilli Point when creating an account and registering!

I'm having trouble registering my card!

Well, that’s not ideal!

It could be that your email address wasn’t correctly linked to your Nando’s Card account. There's an easy way to check this - did you receive a confirmation email when you registered? No? Then try to create an account again.

How do I update my Nando's Card account details?

Can I have multiple cards?

Ah come on, no one likes a show-off. You only really need one Nando's Card. After all, you can only earn one Chilli Point per day, and you can only register your email address once. 

I have multiple cards, can I merge them?

The short answer is no. The long answer is noooooo (don’t say we didn’t warn you!). It’s the whole ‘too much of a good thing’ thing. Stick to one and you can’t go wrong. Fact. 

I've opted in to receive emails. How often will Nando's email me?

If you tick the box to opt-in, you'll be the first to hear the latest news from Nando's! Whether it's menu launches, competitions or exclusive offers, we'll only email you when we think it's important. After all, nobody likes a needy penpal. Don’t worry, we won’t pass your details on to third parties for marketing purposes. 

How do I unsubscribe from marketing emails?

Something we said? Wait, we can change! Okay fine, we probably won't... You can hit the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our emails, but just know we'll miss you. 

How does Nando's Card work?

Each time you visit us and spend  £7 or more*, you'll receive a Chilli Point, and Chillies lead to Rewards! Don't forget to register your card to earn Rewards. 

Green Reward (3 Chilli Points): A ¼ chicken, or any Fire-Starter (excluding All Together Now and Wing Roulette)
Orange Reward (6 Chilli Points): A ½ chicken or any single wrap, burger or pitta (excluding steak and Chicken Butterfly products and Sunset Burger)
Red Reward (10 Chilli Points): A whole chicken, or any single combination meal with regular sides

How do I add my Nando’s Card to my mobile wallet?

You can add your Nando’s Card to either your Apple Wallet or Google Pay app.

If you already have a Nando’s Card, log in to your account and select ‘Add to wallet’ on your dashboard and then follow the prompts.

If you don’t have a Nando’s Card, then create an account and get a Nando’s Card for your phone.

What phone do I need to get a Nando’s Card for my mobile wallet?

Apple: You will need an iPhone 6 or later.

Android: You will need an Android phone with NFC and Lollipop 5.0 or above installed. You will also need the Google Pay app installed on your phone. You can download it here.

Do I need the Nando’s app to get the Nando’s Card on my phone?

You don’t need the Nando’s App to get a Nando’s Card on your phone.

Apple users can add their Nando’s Card to their Apple Wallet (which is pre-installed on all iPhones).

Android users need the Google Pay app to use the Nando’s Card on their phone. You can download it here.

Can I pay or add credit to my Nando’s Card?

No, the Nando’s Card is our reward programme, allowing you to collect Chilli Points and get free PERi-PERi. You can’t add credit or pay with the Nando’s Card.

How do I use my Nando’s Card?

If you have the Nando’s Card in your mobile wallet, simply tap your phone on the contactless reader (located next to the payment device) when prompted to collect Chilli Points or redeem rewards. You may need to unlock your phone.

If you have a physical Card, hand it over to the cashier who will swipe it for you to collect Chilli Points or redeem rewards.

My Nando’s Card doesn’t work when I tap it on the contactless reader?

This could be due to a few reasons:

1. Android users should make sure that NFC is enabled on their phone and on the Nando’s Card, and that Google Pay is set as the default payment service in their phone settings. Click here for help.

2. If your phone has been dropped or damaged this may break the NFC in it.

3. The contactless reader itself may be having issues. Ask the cashier to try on another contactless device. If it still doesn’t work, fear not! You can still give the cashier your Nando’s Card number to collect Chillies or redeem rewards.

Do I need the physical card to get the Nando’s Card for my mobile wallet?

No! You can now get a Nando’s Card for your Apple Wallet or Google Pay without the need for a physical card. That’s good news for the environment and one less thing to carry around.

How do I access my Nando’s Card from my mobile wallet?

Apple: Open the Apple Wallet app on your phone to access your Nando’s Card.

Android: Open the Google Pay app on your phone to access your Nando’s Card.

I’ve got a new physical card and number. How do I update my Nando’s Card in my mobile wallet?

If you have requested a new physical card you will receive a new card and card number in the mail. Your Nando’s Card in your mobile wallet will automatically update with the new card number and details.

You will need to manually update your new card number in your Nando’s Collect & Delivery account, which you can do at https://order.nandos.co.uk/

Where can I find my Nando’s Card number in my mobile wallet?

Apple: Open your Nando’s Card in your Apple Wallet then press the icon in the top right (black circle with three white dots in it) to turn your card over and see your card number.

Android: Open your Nando’s Card on the Google Pay app. The card number is located on the front of the card. You may need to scroll down.

How long does it take for my account to be updated once I have used my Nando’s Card?

Your account should be updated instantly. You may need to refresh your browser or Nando’s App.

Can I add my Nando’s card to Samsung Pay?

No sorry, you can’t add your Nando’s Card to Samsung Pay. You can only add you Nando’s Card to Apple Wallet or Google Pay.

I want a physical Nando’s Card. Where can I get one from?

If you don’t want to add your Nando’s Card to your mobile wallet you can ask the cashier for a physical card at one of our restaurants.

Just to let you know, if you sign up to get a Nando’s Card for your mobile wallet you won't be able to get a physical card as well.

How do I link my Nando’s Card account to my Nando’s Account?

Log in to your Nando’s Card account and follow the instructions to link your Nando’s Card and accounts.

Alternatively log into the Nando’s app and click the ‘Join Now’ button.

How do I delete a saved card from my account?

No worries at all, you can manage your saved cards on the checkout screen (don’t worry you don’t have to actually place an order to do it).  Here’s how it’s done: 

- Head to order.nandos.co.uk

- Choose any restaurant

- Add something to your basket

- Go to checkout

- Next to your payment methods select 'manage'

- Select the bin icon to delete the saved card from your account

The saved card has now been removed - you don't need to actually place the order (unless, of course, you’re craving some PERi-PERi). If you don't want to save a payment card make sure you uncheck the box next time you place an order.

How can I redeem my Nando's rewards during lockdown?

Do not fear! You can still redeem your rewards on Collection orders. Any rewards that expire between Jan 2020 – March 2021 have now been extended until April 30th 2021. Check your reward balance on your dashboard to see the new expiry date

Do You Sell Gift Cards?

Yes! If you fancy purchasing one, pop into any of our restaurants, visit our online store or have a look in popular supermarkets or high street shops.

What if I've lost my Gift Card?

If you registered your Gift Card, we’ll be able to issue you a new one (phew!). Get in touch with us here and we’ll get a new one out to you.

If you haven’t registered your Gift Card, we’re unable to replace it for you.

When does my Gift Card expire?

Your Gift Card will expire 18 months from the date of your last activity (either spending money from your Gift Card or topping it up). We don’t expect you to remember the exact date you last visited us, so you can check the date and balance here. We’re extending all Gift Cards that were due to expire on or after the 20th March 2020 until the 30th September 2021.

Can I top up a Gift Card?

Yes you can! To keep the good times rolling, just pop into any of our restaurants and ask at the till to top your Gift Card up. It can be topped up with anything from £5-£100. If your Gift Card has a value printed on it (e.g. £20) it can only be topped up to this value, but you can always buy a new one if you’re looking for a larger amount.

If you’ve not received your eGift Card email please check your spam or junk folders (sometimes they get lost!) It might be that you incorrectly entered your email address. Check your purchase receipt and if it’s incorrect please contact our Customer Services team.

Who do I contact to make a bulk purchase of Gift Cards?

If you are a business wanting to make a bulk purchase (£1,000 or more) of Gift Cards then please contact giftcard@nandos.co.uk.

Where can I spend my Gift Card?

You can use your Gift Card or eGift Card in any of our restaurants in the UK (including Northern Ireland) or online for Collect.

It can be used for full or part payment. 

Do you accept One4All Cards?

Yes we do!

Redeem them online for Collect or Eat-in. Simply enter your card details into the Payment Card section. Your One4All card needs to have the funds available to cover the cost of the total as we cannot take part payment. 

Do you accept Restaurant Choice Cards?

Yes we do! Redeem them in our restaurants for Eat-in or Walk-in Collect.

Let one of our colleagues know you have a Restaurant Choice card and they will direct you to the till to make payment.

How Does Your Emergency Services Discount Work?

As our little way of saying thanks, we offer a 20% discount to Police, Fire Services, Ambulance service, NHS staff and Military (Army, Navy, RAF). The 20% discount is applied to the card holders order, up to an order value of £20, and can only be used once a day. The discount only applies to the purchase of food and drink. As long as the total order amount comes to over £7 after discount, you can still earn a chilli with your Nando’s Card. We don't accept the Blue Light Card for this discount.

Things work a little differently depending on which service you work for, so see below:

NHS staff

When you Eat-in with us and order at the table, or order for Click & Collect, you can claim your discount through order.nandos.co.uk. You’ll just need to activate your discount first, using a valid NHS email address.

For Walk-In Collect, please bring your NHS ID with you and present it when you order before payment.

We do indeed! Join Nando’s Card and add it to your mobile wallet. Please note that these are the only discounts we offer nationally.

Can I use my Tastecard at Nando's?

No, Nando’s isn’t part of the Tastecard program, but we have other ways for you to earn free Nando’s with our Nando’s card. It’s simple, easy, and costs you nothing to start earning Chilli Points with qualifying Nando’s purchases.


Each time you visit us and spend £7 or more*, you'll receive a Chilli Point, and Chilli Points lead to Rewards! There are delicious rewards at 3, 6, and 10 Chilli Points, and they just keep stacking up every time you visit. You can redeem as many rewards as you wish whenever your visit. And the best bit? What is the NHS Staff discount?

Our NHS Staff discount gives you a 20% off Nando’s ordered online through order.nandos.co.uk for Eat-in or collection only. If you’re ordering for Walk-In Collect, please make sure you bring your NHS ID with you.

How do I get the discount?

You’ll need an NHS email address and a nandos.co.uk account to be eligible for the discount. (We’ll need you to verify your email address so you’ll need access to it too). Visit nandos.co.uk/profile/discount to get started. 

How long does the discount last?

The discount is valid for 6 months, after that we’ll ask you to reverify it.

How much discount do I get?

20% - up to £4 of discount per day.

Can I share this with my NHS colleagues?

Absolutely, if they have a valid NHS email, they’re eligible for a discount. Share away!
