In case you need a reminder, we’re just off the high street in Gray’s Brewery Quarter. Or about five minutes’ walk from The Meadows, Bond Street and High Chelmer shopping centre.
What’s changed?
Nando’s Chelmsford already looked hot - but we’re extra. We’ve added even more Southern African touches with new artwork, chairs and a waiting bench that came straight from our homeland.
Our roots are important to us, so we’ve been partnering with Cape Town’s Spier Arts Trust to curate our art collection in every restaurant. They also run development programmes for South African artists.
We’re big on sustainability, too. So we’ve done some upcycling. Like the light fittings, which our expert sign writer’s decorated. And the banquette seating has been re-upholstered.

Looking for a restaurant near Chelmsford High Street? We’ve got you. Nando’s Chelmsford’s just off the main strip in Gray’s Brewery Quarter. Did you know we’re in a Grade 2 listed building? It used to be a 19th Century brewery. Plus, there’s outdoor seating overlooking the square and we’re right by the River Chelmer.
The Everyman cinema and shopping centre triangle are both under a five minutes' walk away, too.
