Full Terms and Conditions

  • 1. This Promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland aged 16 or over who are Nando’s Card holders. So that we are fair employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion are not allowed to enter.
  • 2. Promotion Period: You can enter this promotion when you receive the email sent out by Nandos until 23.59 BST on 18th December 2016.
  • 3. You do not have to buy anything to take part but you will need internet access and a valid email address.
  • 4. To Enter: Just simply visit www.nandos.co.uk/christmascompetition, answer the multiple-choice question and submit your full name, date of birth and email address to be entered into the prize draw.
  • 5. Sorry but you can only enter once during the promotion period.
  • 6. All entries must be received by the end of the promotion period to be valid and no liability is accepted for incomplete or late entries.
  • 7. The Prizes: One winner will win 1x free Nandos’ for a year with free Nando’s sauces for a year- yum!
  • 8. Additional Prize Details and Conditions:
    • a. The Free Nandos’ for a year prize will be sent to the winner in the form of a ‘Chicken Cheque Book with a cheque each week for the year. The winner can only use a certain number of cheques per month as set out below:
      • i. January 2017- 4 cheques
      • ii. February 2017- 4 cheques
      • iii. March 2017- 5 cheques
      • iv. April 2017- 4 cheques
      • v. May 2017- 4 cheques
      • vi. June 2017- 5 cheques
      • vii. July 2017- 4 cheques
      • viii. August 2017- 5 cheques
      • ix. September 2017- 4 cheques
      • x. October 2017- 4 cheques
      • xi. November 2017-5 cheques
      • xii. December 2017- 4 cheques
    • b. Each cheque is valid for: one (1) combination meal and one (1) soft drink’ and can only be used in one visit.
    • c. The winner will also receive 1x Nando’s branded fridge containing 30 bottles of various 125g PERi-PERi sauces.
  • 9. We’re sorry but you can’t transfer a prize to someone else or exchange it for something else or a cash alternative.
  • 10. If, for reasons we can’t control, a prize is no longer available, we’ll offer you an alternative prize which we hope you’ll still love but which will definitely be of equal or greater value!
  • 11. If you are the winner, we’ll try and send you the prizes within 28 days from the date of winner acceptance.
  • 12. Winner Selection: So that you know we’ve selected our winner fairly, all valid entries (entries that have answered the multiple-choice question correctly) received by the promoter during the promotion period will be entered into a prize draw to be conducted within 3 working days of the closing date and, for your total confidence, by PromoVeritas, the independent promotional verification service.
  • 13. Winner Notification: The winner will be contacted via the email address provided upon entry within 5 working days of the prize draw and they will be required to respond to confirm eligibility plus acceptance of the prize within 14 days of initial contact. In the event a winner does not respond to communications within the 14 days of initial contact, the promoter reserves the right to disqualify that winner and allocate the prize to an alternative entrant selected in the same manner.
  • 14. We reserve the right to verify the eligibility of entrants and we may not award a prize until we are satisfied with the verification received.
  • 15. We believe in fair play. Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. Incomplete or illegible entries, entries by macros or other automated means (including systems which can be programmed to enter), and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these terms and conditions in full will be disqualified and will not be counted. If it becomes apparent that you are using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking your identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities other than your own or any other automated means in order to increase your entries into the promotion in a way that is not consistent with the spirit of the promotion, your entries will be disqualified and any prize awarded will be void.
  • 16. No responsibility is accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed or as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
  • 17. You are liable for any relevant taxes applicable in order to legally claim the prize.

  • 19. Unfortunately, if you suffer any loss or damage that arises out of or in connection with the prize draw or prize itself (whether in contract, tort (including (without limitation) negligence), statutory duty or otherwise) we won’t be liable for this.
  • 20. If this promotion can’t run properly because of fraud, tampering, technical errors or anything else that is beyond our control which affects the running, administration, security or fairness of this promotion, we reserve the right to disqualify any person involved. We will also have the right to cancel, modify or suspend the promotion.
  • 21. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the promoter and which prevents the promoter from complying with these terms and conditions the promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation.
  • 22. The winner may be required to participate in any reasonable publicity arising from the promotion.
  • 23. If you are the winner of the promotion, you agree that we may use your name and county of residence to announce the winners of this promotion and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes.
  • 24. If you would like to know who has won just send a self-addressed envelope to: Customer Experience, Nando’s, Erico House, 93-99 Upper Richmond Road, London, SW152TG after 1st February 2017 and available for 4 weeks.
  • 25. By entering you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms and conditions.
  • 26. The promoter’s decision is binding in all matters relating to this Promotion, and no correspondence shall be entered into.
  • 27. These terms and conditions are governed by English Law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
