PERi-PERi Meatball Pasta Bake

Ingredients

25g Nando’s Smokey BBQ PERi-PERi Rub
400g of your favourite meatballs
125g Nando’s Garlic PERi-PERi Sauce
800g passata
300g rigatoni or penne pasta
3 x tbsp oil
100g grated mozzarella
A handful of basil leaves
To serve
Serve with a fresh, crusty baguette or garlic bread

Method

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 200°C.

Step 2

Add the meatballs to a baking tray with a tablespoon of oil and sprinkle with Nando's Smokey BBQ PERi-PERi Rub. Toss to coat and bake for 10 minutes, until golden.

Step 3

In another pan, bring the pasta to the boil and cook for 6 mins, until al dente. Then drain and stir into the sauce.

Step 4

Add the saucy pasta to a large ovenproof dish and top with the meatballs. Sprinkle the mozzarella over the top and bake for 20 minutes until it's golden and bubbling.

Step 5

Finish with basil leaves and black pepper.
