Following our first serving of festival fun at Parklife, Nando’s heads to North London to the incredible New Look Wireless Festival to do some backstage feeding for one of tastiest line-ups you’ll find anywhere in the world. Only a few more sleeps to go…

To whet your appetite for the weekend, here are five Extra Hot acts we recommend hot footing it to:

Kendrick Lamar
After dropping one of the greatest hip-hop records of all time (2013’s ‘Good Kid, M.A.A.D City’) the pressure was most definitely on for Kendrick Lamar to deliver the goods again. No biggie for the ridiculously cool Californian however, as he swaggered up to the plate and dropped ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’, one of 2015’s most unpredictable and inspiring albums. Drake and Avicii will bring the glamour this weekend, but for many at Wireless, the biggest buzz will be the return of Kendrick.

Charli XCX
Since bursting onto the scene guesting on the Icona Pop smash-hit ‘I Love It’, Nando’s fan Charli XCX has just kept soaring to become one of the biggest British acts in the States. But she hasn’t forgotten about us back home, and we can’t wait to hear the likes of ‘Break The Rules’ and ‘Famous’ booming from the Wireless sound system. We Love It!

Lethal Bizzle
Lethal Bizzle only does one kind of record, and that’s the kind that gets a party completely fired up! He’s been dishing out Extra Hot party treats from the early days of ‘Pow!’ to his recent carnival-fused ‘Fester Skank’, where he even dropped his favourite restaurant into the flow - “2 2 Chicken – Nando’s!” And unless you’ve been vacationing in Mars in recent weeks you’ll know his Fester Skank dance craze has been spreading like wildfire, and the Wireless crowd ‘skanking’ en masse is set to be one of the weekend’s many highlights.

Gorgon City
With a tasty-looking DJ residency at the world-renowned Ibiza nightclub Amnesia now in full swing, Gorgon City are firmly established as one of the top dogs in dance music. Their Top Ten album ‘Sirens’ is packed with more hits than Carl Froch so expect some serious sing-a-long action at this weekend’s party from the Gorgon City live experience.

Ilovemakonnen
This upcoming Atlanta rapper might be fresh to many people, but you’ll certainly know some of the major players he seems to have on speed dial. Diplo, Skrillex, Snoop Dogg and Rihanna look set to appear on his forthcoming debut album, and he’s already worked with his mentor Drake on last year’s underrated jam ‘Tuesday’. So he’s certainly got friends in high places, but we’re tipping he’ll be a star in his own right very soon. It’s going to be an amazing weekend, and if you haven’t managed to sort a ticket yet then keep an eye on our Twitter channels this week for competitions to win last minute passes …
