Chocolate mug cake

PERinaise for a pudding? Yep, you heard. Made in the microwave in just two minutes, this mouth-watering mix of PERinaise and chocolate has to be seen to be believed. Well, tasted, but you get what we mean…


2 tbsp PERinaise (choose your flavour)
1tbsp butter (melted)
1 egg (Large)
2 tbsp caster sugar
3 tbsp self-raising flour
1 tbsp cocoa powder
Shaved chocolate and ice cream to serve (optional)


Step 1

Pour melted butter and crack the egg into to the mug and beat with a fork until well mixed.

Step 2

Add the rest of the ingredients into the mug.

Step 3

Give it a really good mix, make sure that you get all the lumps out! Then, put your mug in the microwave oven and cook on high for 1-2 mins, or until it has stopped rising and is firm to the touch.
